Cellist Alistair MacRae has performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral principal throughout North America, and in Europe, Asia, South America, and the Middle East. As a chamber musician and recitalist, he has appeared in Carnegie Hall's Zankel and Weill Halls. He has performed as a member of Soprello, Puget Sound Piano Trio, Richardson Chamber Players, Fountain Ensemble, and the Berkshire Bach Ensemble, as well as with the Manhattan Sinfonietta, Suedama Ensemble, and the new music ensemble counter)induction. His performances have been featured in radio broadcasts across the United States. MacRae is Cordelia Wikarski-Miedel Artist in Residence at University of Puget Sound, a member of the artist faculty at the Brevard Music Center, and principal cello of the Princeton Symphony Orchestra.
