We are so excited to welcome you to our home in the Pacific Northwest! If you have any questions or concerns, please call Conference Services at 253.879.3483. While guests are on campus, our phone line will be answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Arrival and Check-in

The coordinators of your program should tell you when and where to check-in, and there will be signage on roads leading into the campus that will also help get you where you need to be. Parking at Puget Sound is free! Please feel free to park in any marked spot with no permit necessary.

A Conference Services staff member will be present during your program's registration period to give you your room key, a campus map and answer any questions you may have about your stay. Each guest is issued a physical room key and an access card that provides entry to your residence hall as well as meals in the Diner.

Meals

All overnight programs are required to purchase a meal plan. Any non-catered meals at Puget Sound will be in The Diner, located conveniently inside Wheelock Student Center. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all served all-you-care-to-eat style, with different menu stations, vegetarian and vegan options, fresh fruit and salad bar, selection of desserts, and self-serve beverages. Please communicate any special dietary needs with your program in advance, notify Conference Services and our chef.

Participants commuting to your program may either be included in your program's meal plan or they may elect to purchase their own meals a-la-carte. Please communicate with your event coordinator about your meal package options if you commute to an otherwise overnight program.

Whether you would like a refreshment break, continental breakfast, or plated dinner, our Catering team is eager to serve. Please inquire with your program if you have questions about a catered meal because they widely vary!

Diversions Café, a student-managed coffee shop, is located in Wheelock Student Center and is open weekdays over the summer. Stop in to try delicious coffee, a refreshing lemonade, or a pastry!

Amenities

When you arrive at your room, you will find a twin extra-long bed, a bookshelf, a wardrobe, and a desk. Your program may have purchased a linen package for you, so please inquire with your coordinator for more details or request a linen package. Bathrooms are most often shared, so we recommend bringing items that may make your experience more comfortable, such as a bathrobe or shower shoes.

Wireless internet is free throughout campus! Once you arrive, connected to the wireless network, "PS-Guest." Also, Conference Services issues complimentary guest passes to our Fitness Center and Pool! Please turn in an Athletic Facilities Waiver to the Information Desk in Wheelock Student Center, or during your check-in, to receive a guest pass valid for the duration of your stay.

Please note that our housing facilities are not air-conditioned, so please bring a fan to make your stay more comfortable. In addition, we recommend bringing hangers for your wardrobe!
