We are excited to announce the evolution of the ASK Network!
ASK (Alumni Sharing Knowledge) is becoming Logger Link, Puget Sound's Mentorship Network – same incredible concept of connecting students with alumni for career support, advice, and inspiration... new name and platform to foster even more opportunity for engagement. Please consider signing up: PugetSound.edu/LoggerLink
Logger Link creates a platform for a multitude of alumni-student communication and mentorship experiences.
Currently:
- Students and alumni can virtually meet one another via “Flash Mentorship.” Students can reach out to alumni for a one-time conversation about Puget Sound education supports career development, to chat about specific industries or employers, and more.
- Group Mentorship gathers Loggers in online communities that focus on industry, identity, and affinity. Groups are moderated by trained alumni volunteers and are designed to bring together students and alumni across all class years for shared conversation, support, and connection.
In the works:
- One-to-One alumni-to-student mentorship will match alumni with students for a 6-month structured program. This approach offers a rich opportunity for dialog, encouragement, and accountability. Mentorship relationships are mutually beneficial; alumni have expressed how much they learn from the students who they connect with, and students benefit from alumni advice about life beyond Puget Sound!
The University of Puget Sound ASK (Alumni Sharing Knowledge) group on LinkedIn was retired* on during Fall 2022. Please sign up for Logger Link to continue supporting and connecting with students.
*Nervous about losing your LinkedIn opportunity to easily connect via groups now that the ASK group is retired? Logger Link provides myriad opportunities to meet and engage with new alumni contacts. You may also consider joining the University of Puget Sound Alumni Association (for both students and alumni), to continue easy within-group communication on LinkedIn.
