Do you have a favorite place in Tacoma?
There are so many great places in Tacoma, but one of my favorites is Cheney Stadium, home to our local AAA baseball team, the Tacoma Rainiers. My daughter and I catch games there as often as we're able throughout the season. There's no better place to spend a sunny afternoon or warm summer evening!

Name a class at Puget Sound you are interested in, but haven't taken.
I would love to take "Strange Realities: Physics in the 20th Century" (STS 348), which explores the concepts of quantum mechanics and relativity - without the use of higher math. The class also looks at how physicists have grappled with the philosophical implications of their work and how they communicate their mind-bending theories to the rest of the world. As a person who has always been fascinated by the concepts of physics but is completely ill-equipped to understand the math involved, I think this class sounds absolutely fascinating!

What is a book that has been influential for you?
I'm a huge fan of Pride and Prejudice - I've read it many times now, and I never fail to be impressed with Austen's sharp wit and social commentary. I discover new things to love about the book with every reading!
