Sometimes coming home can be more of a challenge than adjusting to another culture. You may realize that you have changed and so did life at home. It isn't surprising that you could experience "reverse culture shock".
Resources available to help you ease back into life at Puget Sound:
- Talk with family, friends and other study abroad alums about how you are feeling
- Review the Strategies for Successful Re-entry
- Reach out to the staff in International Programs - we are always happy to talk
Also, participate in the Photo Contest and complete the program evaluation sent from International Programs. Completing the evaluation will be a great way for you to revisit your experience and know that your comments will be read by many students planning for their study abroad adventure.
