Since medical costs can be extremely high in the United States, the University of Puget Sound requires all international students to purchase an insurance plan. You will automatically be enrolled in the international student insurance plan every semester. The cost of the plan is typically about $750 each semester. Student athletes will be enrolled in a plan that covers them for injuries sustained while playing for a university team and the cost of that plan is typically about $800 each semester. The cost will be added to your Puget Sound account each semester you are enrolled.
