  • The Year that Summer Turned Upside Down - Experiential Learning and CES have collaborated to offer a website full of resources for making the most of this summer, including information about project work, virtual work, self-development, and career exploration & development.

RISE RESOURCES:

  • RISE Tips for Finding Virtual Experiences: If you’re currently looking for summer experiences and having trouble finding opportunities, Nicole Kendrick has compiled some tips and resources for you!
  • RISE Drop-In Hours: Connect with your RISE Instructors during the RISE Drop-In hour, every Thursday, 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.
  • RISE Projects: Our local community partners have created remote project opportunities for RISE students this summer, as your RISE experience. If you are interested in applying to any of these projects, please reach out to the contact email provided with your cover letter and resume. 
  • Propose Your Own Project: In an effort to support our RISE Students during time, we continuously welcome you to propose your own RISE projects. Examples of possible projects could be:
    • Build and launch a website for a small business
    • Develop and implement a social media plan
    • Collect and analyze analytics for an organization
    • Conduct research
    • Commit to the creation of a work of art
    • Plan, write, and create a podcast
    • Develop an app
  • M.Ed. Counseling Students: Feeling overwhelmed? Do you want support in planning and thinking about your next step? M.Ed. counseling students would love to work with you this semester.

  • ePortfolio Guide:  Explore the value of and approaches to ePortfolio. Resources on getting started and developing ePortfolios is included.
  • How to Guide:  Get technical support for common questions with steps for editing content and features of the ePortfolio.
  • Course Support: Using ePortfolio in a course this semester?  This document will provide the name and email of the Program Assistant assigned to provide tailored ePortfolio support for your class.
