The Conti Scholarship was established in 2005 through a bequest in Eleanor Jessel Conti's will. Annual awards are made to one or more outstanding Puget Sound students who are committed to pursuing the University's dual degree engineering program, and who have demonstrated financial need. Candidates for the scholarship are nominated by the dual degree program's faculty advisory committee.

The Conti Scholarship for dual degree engineering students is a very generous award, with two to four students receiving amounts in the $6,000 - 12,000 range in recent years. Applications will be available in March. Awards are announced near the end of the spring semester at the Physics Department year-end gathering.
