In collaboration with other regional communication, media, and/or rhetoric departments, the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Puget Sound (Tacoma, WA) will host a Communication Studies Undergraduate Research Conference April 2-4, 2020. Conference organizers are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive educational experience through which all participants feel valued, respected, and supported. In particular, this annual conference strives to cultivate a supportive network for students and colleagues from groups that are historically underrepresented on our campuses. Through a variety of student participation options, informal opportunities for faculty and students to connect, and formal opportunities to learn from scholars whose research concerns power, difference, and equity, the Pacific Northwest Communication Studies Undergraduate Research Conference affirms its commitment to diversity and inclusion.
