The Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) is a student-driven organization that serves to strengthen the enthusiasm and advocate for the profession of occupational therapy. Students from the first year and second year of the program collaborate in creating yearly objectives and goals. Student committee and board representatives facilitate contact with the community to expose SOTA members to the various aspects of occupational therapy. SOTA helps to increase professional development, advocacy opportunities, social gatherings, and volunteering within the community.
