Come visit the Slater Museum of Natural History; home to about 90,000 specimens spanning the last century and a half from around the world.

In just a short visit, you can meet a polar bear up close, touch the most common owl in Washington state, or hold the "original" Cascade Frog! Visits are free of charge and family friendly.

June-August: Contact us at to make an appointment if you are interested in seeing the collection.

September- May when classes are in session: Stop in during our weekly Open Hours, Wednesdays through Fridays, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., to explore the collection with one of our student docents. Take a tour of the museum or just pop in for a few minutes.
