Visit the Slater Museum

Tour the Slater Museum- home to 90,000 specimens spanning the last century and a half from around the world.

In just a short visit, you can meet a polar bear up close, touch the most common owl in Washington state, or hold the "original" Cascade Frog! Tours are free of charge and open to visitors 3rd grade and older.

Please note that the museum is not open on weekends.

September- May: During the academic year, Slater Museum docents will be hosting weekly open hours on Wednesdays through Fridays, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Take a tour of the museum or just pop in for a few minutes during these times! For groups of 10 or more visitors, please call or email in advance to schedule an appointment.
