In August, we host our Annual Logger Diversity Summit as part of our student leader training this fall coordinated by the Division of Student Affairs. The goal of the summit is to assist our student leaders in their understanding of multiculturalism on campus and support the creation of a more inclusive living-learning environment among their peers. Throughout the day, participants will learn about the structural composition and climate for diversity on campus, deconstruct dynamics of privilege, and explore their own personal identities in preparation for their roles to help other students in their campus transitions.
As part of the program, we highlight individuals that have made significant contributions to issues of equity and justice. We invite you to browse this page to learn the stories of important advocates and reflect upon their many contributions. Please browse the library collections for further information.
