Top 10 Actions
We designed the Top 10 Actions as a way to highlight the most important actions you can take to make a difference on our campus. Little things add up to big change. Whether you choose to adopt one action or all ten, your actions help to make our campus more sustainable.
One of the best ways to practice what you have learned in the classroom environment is to put it into action. Volunteering in our local community ensures that the Puget Sound region's natural resources are protected for many generations to come. The Center for Intercultural and Civic Engagement (CICE) is a great resource to discover volunteer opportunities in the area. Email them or visit their webpage.
Join a club
There are several clubs on campus that focus on environmental issues, sustainability, and living green. Joining a club is a great way to meet people who share similar values, as well as broaden your understanding of the world around you.
ECO Club focuses on broadening and expanding student voices on environmental issues. If you're interested in joining, email email@example.com.
The Garden Club utilizes the space of our on-campus community garden to learn the best garden practices, the importance of fresh, local foods, as well as build an engaging community that cares about the natural environment. To join, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
