Each year, the University of Puget Sound hosts two scholarship luncheons honoring the generosity of those who have created scholarships and recognizing this year’s scholarship recipients. These annual events provide an opportunity for donors to meet the recipients of their scholarships and for students to share their experiences at Puget Sound and express their appreciation to their donors.
The first scholarship luncheon recognizing the 2014–2015 scholarship recipients was held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 in the Dottie Rasmussen Rotunda. Over 110 guests had the opportunity to become acquainted with one another and share stories over lunch while enjoying music from student violinist, Zachary Hamilton ’15. The program also featured remarks from scholarship recipient Katie Breece ’15 and President Ron Thomas.
"I am beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to attend this university, which, even after I graduate in May, will always be my home."

"One of the biggest things that I will take away from my experience here at Puget Sound is the connections I made with my professors. The environment of this school has allowed me to realize my potential. I have had some amazing mentors during these four years and because of the support system I have created I have the confidence to keep reaching for the stars."
