Audio and Video Project Support

Media Services offers support for a variety of audio and video projects. For more information, or to schedule project support, contact Media Services at 253.879.3963 or media@pugetsound.edu.

To request project support, visit the Tech Center in the library to fill out a Project Request Form, submit through our online form, or download the pdf.

Audio or video recording 

Media Services staff is available to record university-sponsored events, including lectures, presentations, performances, and interviews. Two weeks notice is recommended to ensure staffing availability. 

Audio and video editing

Media Services staff have several production computers where we can perform editing projects in iMovie and Final Cut Pro. Depending on staff availability, projects are completed in 5 working days; however, for more complex projects, the turnaround may be longer. 

Project Training

Media Services staff is available for in-person training and consultation for audio and video editing software and equipment. Training is available for any software in the Digital Media Lab, all equipment available for checkout, and a selection of additional software and equipment. Additionally, there are Lynda.com accounts available through HR for access to online training videos for a variety of software programs. 

Faculty Moodle Support

In collaboration with Educational Technology, Media Services provides support for faculty integrating media content into Moodle course sites. Copyright protected content on Moodle course sites generally will fall under the guidelines of Fair Use, and faculty are responsible for evaluating materials in accordance with the fair use guidelines to be in compliance with current copyright law.
