Tanya Stambuk’s piano concert career has taken her across the United States and throughout Western and Eastern Europe. She has performed with the Orchestre de Toulouse, in France; Virginia Symphony; Chicago Civic Orchestra; Bergen Philharmonic; Lake Charles Symphony; Rapides Symphony Orchestra, in Louisiana; and with Washington's Olympia Symphony, Tacoma Symphony, and the Seattle Symphony, among others. Stambuk has been heard in recital at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, in summer festivals in Germany, Italy, France, and Scotland, and at the Auditorio Nacional Carlos Alberto, in Portugal. She has made guest appearances on radio in New York, Chicago, Moscow, and in Croatia, and appeared on the television program In Praise of Women Pianists. She has performed at numerous venues, including the 92nd Street Y and Merkin Hall, in New York; the Music Academy, in Philadelphia; the Phillips Collection, in Washington DC; the Dame Myra Hess Series, in Chicago; and the Piano Series, at the San Diego Art Museum. Stambuk premiered Norman Dello Joio's newly revised Fantasy Variations for Piano and Orchestra in Florida and North Carolina, and recorded his piano works on the Naxos label. As a member of the Finisterra Piano Trio, she also recorded the complete piano trios of Daron Hagen on the Naxos label. The recording was hailed as one of the “Five Best American Contemporary Classical Releases of 2010,” by National Public Radio.
