Jennifer Neighbors’ scholarly interests include legal, social, and gender history. She teaches courses that include History of China; History of Japan; Resistance, Rebellion, and Revolution in China; and Mao’s China: A Country in Revolution. Neighbors has been working on a book manuscript titled “A Question of Intent: Homicide Law and Criminal Justice in Qing & Republican China.”
