America Chambers' research interests include machine learning and natural language processing. More specifically her work focuses on developing probabilistic and statistical models for natural language applications such as document classification, document clustering, and most recently, semantic analyses of scientific articles. Her published work includes "Statistical models for text classification: Applications and analysis," (ProQuest Dissertations and Theses, 2013). A math and computer science double major, she has taught subjects ranging from Introduction to Computer Science to Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing.
