Staying in a Residence Hall

Puget Sound's Residence Halls are wonderful facilities that many guests enjoy staying in year after year! Each building is a little different, so the Conference Services team will help to match your program's needs with an available hall during your stay.

Each guest will receive a key to their individual room as well as an access card that they may use to enter their residence hall. Every room will contain, per person, a twin extra-long bed, a desk and desk chair, and a wardrobe. In addition, each room will be furnished with a trash bin and recycling bin. If you would like to purchase a linen package for your participants, each set would include a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, a blanket, a pillow and pillowcase, and a towel set. Laundry machines are in each residence hall and free to use, parking on campus is free, and wireless internet in every campus-owned building is free!

You can stay at Puget Sound with peace of mind, knowing that Security Services monitors campus 24/7 and is able to respond to any emergency by dialing 253.879.3311.

Traditional Residence Halls

Puget Sound is home to eight traditional residence halls, ranging in size from 75 to 200 beds. These halls feature primarily multiple occupancy rooms, but generally have at least one single occupancy room per floor. Bathrooms are shared amongst rooms on each floor, most floors have a community lounge space, and there are laundry machines within each building that are free to use.

Trimble Hall

Trimble Hall is designed as suite-style housing with a total capacity of 179 guests. In Trimble Hall, every floor has a community hallway that breaks off into five- or six- person suites. Each suite features single occupancy rooms, one to two shared bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a cozy living area. As a more deluxe accommodation, a linen package while staying in Trimble Hall is included in the standard rate.

Thomas Hall

Thomas Hall is the newest residence hall at Puget Sound with room for 134 guests, broken down into 9- to 14-person flats. Each flat includes single-occupancy rooms, 3 to 4 shared bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a community living space. Thomas Hall is known for large windows with breathtaking views of campus, and if you're lucky, Mt. Rainier to the east. Similar to Trimble Hall, a linen set is included with each room as part of a more deluxe package.
