Interfaith Baccalaureate Celebration
10 - 11 a.m.
Kilworth Memorial Chapel

The university's baccalaureate celebration provides students and families from all religious and spiritual backgrounds the opportunity to gather and honor the ways faith and spirituality have been a part of our graduates' learning and growth at Puget Sound.  This celebration is designed and led by graduates from diverse backgrounds with support from University Chaplain Dave Wright '96.  Given the inclusive and unique nature of the celebration, all graduates and families are welcome to be present and to participate in the program in ways appropriate for their own spiritual and religious identities.   For more information, please contact

This year’s Interfaith Baccalaureate will include the creation of a time capsule, to be opened in 10 years, that will contain a snapshot of our graduating class’s fears, hopes, and reflections on our time here at Puget Sound. If you have one, please bring a small token—a note, a photograph, a rock, or something else—that symbolizes your time at Puget Sound to leave in the time capsule. If you don’t have a token to bring (or forget!) we will have the opportunity to reflect and create a token for the time capsule during the ceremony, allowing all of us to create a beautiful treasury of our collective experience here. We look forward to celebrating with you!
