Federal and State Work-Study Referral Appointments

Are you a current Federal or State Work-Study recipient who is returning to Puget Sound for the fall semester?

Do you want to explore job options for next year? If so, plan to schedule a Career and Employment Services’ Federal and State Work-Study Referral Appointment.

Returning to your current work-study position next year? You do not need to schedule a Referral Appointment, but make sure to confirm your interest with your supervisor. Career and Employment Services (CES) will assume that you are returning to your previously-held position unless you meet with CES to obtain a different referral, or your supervisor notifies us that you will not return.

**Due to the unavoidable uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 health crisis and its potential impact on institutions of higher education, employment will be contingent upon a return to regular on-campus operations by Fall 2020 and a continued need and funding for the work associated with the position.**

    • You'll be able to preview open jobs and get a referral to interview for the job of your choice.
    • You can arrange your employment ahead of time for the upcoming academic year.
    • Your next opportunity to be referred to a different job for the upcoming academic year will be the first week of fall term, after first-year students have been referred.
    • CES will assume that you will return to your previously-held position unless you meet with CES to obtain a different referral, or your supervisor notifies us that you will not return.
