The Geology Department offers a broad spectrum of classes while maintaining a close-knit and collegial learning environment. Each course includes a fieldwork component to integrate field and laboratory analysis. By the time they graduate, our majors are scientists, trained to collect and interpret their own data, think creatively, and answer real-world questions.
