We asked Jason...

How would you describe your role and organization to a college student?
My role is to drive the footwear product creation process for the Jordan brand from initial the initial design brief through prototyping and to support strategic planning for Jordan. This entails bringing key players together to develop broad strategies and detailed tactical plans to ensure the over 900 Jordan footwear products under development at any given point in time are on schedule and will meet the needs of our customer.

What can a student expect to experience by job shadowing you?
No two days are the same so I cannot predict exactly what we will do on the day they are able to join me. At the macro level though they will get a firsthand look at how Nike operates and a sense of what is involved in the creation of new footwear products.

ATTENTION: Students shadowing this host will be required to bring a state-issued form of identification or passport with them to the job shadow. Must be original documents, photocopies are not accepted. Please contact CES if you have any questions or concerns.

Why do you want to host Logger Students?
The best way to develop professionally is to speak with those who are in roles that you would like to be in one day. I have benefited from people investing time in my professional development so this is one of the ways I can pay back their generosity by investing in others.
