How would you describe your role and organization to a college student?
I oversee all of the government relations for my company. I serve as the liaison to all of our local, state, and federal elected officials and analyze public policy (legislation) and regulation for my company. I develop our company's public policy and budget priorities, and implement an effective advocacy strategy.
What can students expect to experience job shadowing you?
The job shadow experience will start in my Tacoma office, and then we will travel to the State Capitol (Olympia) to attend legislative hearings, briefings, and meetings with legislators.
