Diversity events and programs are offered throughout the academic year by student organizations, campus offices, academic departments, and or individual members of our campus community. Such programs and events aim to provide campus members with educational opportunities that offer critical space and a place to engage with issues of equity and inclusion and opportunities to celebrate diversity in its many manifestations. Diversity programming is essential to fostering spaces where we celebrate diverse cultural representation, engage in critical conversations about power, privilege, and oppression, and cultivate a welcoming campus climate. We recognize that all campus members benefit from diverse experiences and perspectives, and continuously seek ways to enrich engagement with learning, essential to achieving academic excellence.
