Academics

Student may choose from more than 1,200 courses in more than 40 major programs, as well as summer research programs, language program houses, frequent campus lectures and seminars, and academic-residential programs. Puget Sound students are also eligible to be selected for membership in the honor societies of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, and Mortar Board.

Due to our larger size -- we're about twice the size of most liberal arts colleges -- we can offer a broad array of studies, including an undergraduate program in Business and Leadership, and a conservatory-caliber School of Music. Other popular choices range from innovative programs such as the Asian Studies Program, Pacific Rim/Asia Study-Travel Tour, and Gender Studies Program, to more traditional studies such as humanities and health sciences, and graduate programs in Education, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy.
