Spirituality & Religious Life
While the University of Puget Sound is an independent, non-sectarian university, we recognize and affirm that many in our community choose to practice a religious tradition or consider themselves to be spiritually engaged with our world. A core mission of the Office of Spirituality, Service, and Social Justice (SSSJ) is to provide resources for support, education, and to challenge members of our community as we learn to thrive in the context of the variety of religious and spiritual practices that are a part of our campus and our society.
The links to the right will take you to more information about local religious communities, student clubs related to religious life, interfaith resources, opportunities for spiritual practice, and contact information for receiving pastoral care and support.
We also recognize and strive to embody our historic and current relationship with the United Methodist Church, and the shared values of academic freedom, social responsibility, and ethical engagement with the larger world that are important to both the University and the Church.
