Student Organizations

OIE works with over 12 student-led cultural heritage and social issue organizations. Many of these student organizations are represented at the Student Diversity Center (SDC) and collaborate in areas of mutual interest. Club involvement is one of the best opportunities to get involved in multicultural education and celebration on campus. Student-run organizations honoring specific ethnicities, races, genders, religions and sexual orientations meet regularly and host various programs and activities to foster recognition and community throughout the university.

These groups include:

  • African Alliance (Invisible Children)
  • Asian and Pacific American Student Union (APASU)
  • Beyond (Transgender Student Organization)
  • Black Student Union (BSU)
  • Queer Student Alliance (Q&A)
  • Latinos United for Community & Education (LUCE)
  • Hui-O-Hawai'i
  • International Club
  • Hillel (Jewish Student Organization)
  • Interfaith Council (IC)
  • Native American Club (NAC)
  • Sexual Assult Free Environment (SAFE) Men
