Student Health Awareness/Advocacy Club (SHAC)

Purpose

  • Peer health education on campus
  • Provide interesting programs on current health issues
  • Cooperate and organize projects with other student groups
  • Act as a voice for student input on CHWS

Membership

  • Open to all students
  • No dues

SHAC is one of ASUPS' recognized organizations and provides many leadership opportunities. The club plans and promotes at least five health issues per year and is always open to new ideas. Dedicated club members may have the opportunity to attend local, regional, and national conferences for college health. This club will provide significant opportunities to improve your interpersonal skills through peer education and advocacy. You will also gain valuable insights into personal health issues.
