Doctoral Psychology Intern
Paul is a doctoral intern at CHWS for the 2014-2015 academic year. He earned his master’s degree and is pursuing his doctorate in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois. Paul completed his undergraduate studies at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill majoring in psychology and history. His dissertation focused on adult identity development and goal actualization through romantic relationships. Paul’s clinical interests include but are not limited to identity development, adjustment issues, ambiguity, and stigma reduction. Paul has worked and trained in a variety of different settings including a community mental health center, adolescent dialysis center, Chinese-American pre-school, private practice, a law school, and an arts and design college. Outside of work and school Paul enjoys spending time outdoors, exercising, and engaging in sports when possible.
