This is James’ first year at Puget Sound. He is excited to be the Resident Director for Anderson/Langdon, Smith, University, Schiff and Harrington Hall. As a Resident Director, James’ strives to help foster a dynamic community that is fun and supportive. In James’ down time he enjoys watching a good movie, sitting with coffee and a friend, or playing sports (but especially soccer).
Before coming to Puget Sound, James worked in career services as a bridge between MBA students at University of Washington and both local and international employers. Prior to UW, he was in graduate school at Seattle University and also worked as a Collegium Coordinator where he strove to develop a vibrant and inclusive community for freshmen and sophomore transfer students. He started his journey into student development in undergrad at Calvin College where he was a Resident Assistant, Residence Life Intern and held other student leadership positions throughout his time.
