JuST is a program that seeks to increase awareness of opportunities for service and social justice and helps students find outlets for this work. JuST is open to all students and is especially geared toward first and second year students. It develops leaders who are aware globally and engaged locally. Drawing from faculty, staff, older student leaders, student clubs, and community partners, JuST teaches the tools and background needed to be active and proactive in society. We engage issues of race, class, sex, gender, homophobia, ability, religion, the relationship between service and social justice, and the systems that perpetuate inequality. JuST meets weekly, every Tuesday 5–6 p.m.
