Class of 2005

Can you believe that it's been 10 years since you've been a student at Puget Sound? Come celebrate your 10 year reunion with your fellow Loggers this June!

What are some of your favorite memories?

"Building a lawn sculpture out of cardboard, in the middle of the night, to advertise my candidacy for ASUPS VP. Doing rounds at Seward and Langlow." – Wesley Magee ‘05

"Jello wrestling at the Outhouse, all the crazy shanagins me and my friends got up to in the SOAP house,  puddle jumping to splash people unexpectedly, trying to pole vault in the rain, going to Whistler with Phi Delt, taking my dog there to run around after I graduated, so many things....." – Elizabeth Kajko ‘05

"Getting a Duke of Earl at Diversions before and after classes." - Robert Rothwell ‘05

How would you describe your experience as a student?

"I am incredibly grateful for the experience I had as a Puget Sound student! I went directly into a graduate program following graduation, and felt very well-prepared to pursue music as a professional." – Ryan Bede ‘05

What faculty or staff members do you remember most?

“Michael Veseth - he had a great sense of humor and curiosity that was contagious. Harry Velez-Quinones was a great professor as well - he was tough and demanding but passionate.” – Rogers Hawley ‘05

"Geoff Proehl: He changes students' lives, he makes room and validates the need for the heart in academia, he makes you think in an expansive way...Dr. Zopfi: He modeled and demanded excellence" – Jess Smith ‘05

"President Thomas was a dynamic and charming character that thrust UPS forward towards greatness and has never let up. He is also a warm, charming, and approachable man. His coffee hours in Diversions were something I took up immediately as a student and found in him a caring and concerned leader that understood the students' perspective." – Robert Rothwell ‘05
