Puget Sound is consistently ranked among the nation’s top
small colleges producing Fulbright Scholars, Watson Fellows,
and Peace Corps Volunteers.
Before graduation 36 percent of 2012 seniors who were plan-
ning employment had already found positions. This compares
with a national average of 25 percent.
Last May, 2012 graduates were asked “Next fall, what is most
likely to be your principal activity?” Here were their plans:

In 2012 Puget Sound graduates enjoyed a 75 percent acceptance
rate to medical and dental school.
In 2010–11, the most recent data available, graduates enjoyed an

percent law school acceptance rate.
In recent years students have been admitted to medical programs
at Stanford, Columbia, Dartmouth, Harvard, Johns Hopkins,
Oregon Health & Science University, Tufts, University of Wash-
ington, and USC, among others. Students have been admitted to
law programs at Boston College, Cornell, Georgetown, Michi-
gan, New York University, UCLA, USC, and Yale, among others.
