Associate Professor, Physical Therapy
Dr. Looper received her BS from Boston University in 1999. She received her MSPT from Boston University in 2001 and her PhD from the University of Michigan in 2008. She joined the University of Puget Sound faculty in 2008. Dr. Looper is responsible for courses in pediatrics and critical inquiry. Her clinical experience is in early intervention and working with people with developmental disabilities throughout their lifespan. Dr. Looper's research focuses on the development of walking and physical therapy interventions for children with Down syndrome. She frequently presents at conferences and has published in Journal of Motor Behavior, Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology, and Physical Therapy.
