Functional Anatomy of the Limbs and Trunk

Essential gross anatomy of the muscolo-skeleton systems of the limbs and trunk, including peripheral nerves and vascular sturctures, is studied as a basis for understanding and analyzing human functional movement. Biomechanical principles of human motion are studied, as well as kinesiologic analysis of movement. Introduction to goniometry (ROM ?range of motion measurement) and manual mescle testing (MMT) are also covered.

Prerequisites: Admission to OT program.
