PHYS 105

Historical Development in the Physical Sciences

An introduction to the developments of physics from the Renaissance to the modern day. The emphasis is on how ideas about nature are formed and why they change. A weekly laboratory session provides an opportunity to perform experiments and report results.

Prerequisites: Credit for PHYS 105 will not be granted to students who have received credit for HON 212. Students who have PHYS 105 transfer credit may not take this course.
