Prospective majors and nonmajors alike are welcome to visit classes, attend ensemble rehearsals, and talk with faculty and staff about music study and performance opportunities at the School of Music.
We welcome walk-in visitors on the day of the event. Please arrive at 8:00 a.m. to the Wheelock Student Center (#52 on the campus map) for day of registration.

Strings at Puget Sound
Meet Professor of Violin and Chair of the String Department, Maria Sampen and Artist in Residence in Cello and Chamber Music, Alistair MacRae. They will be joined by current string students to discuss opportunities for string playing including individual lessons, orchestra and chamber music.
Chamber Music Reading (Party!)
Open to all violinists, violists, cellists and bassists. Bring your instrument and join UPS string faculty and students for a chamber music reading session. Music and snacks will be provided!
