Why did you choose Puget Sound?
The campus and the people. I had a an amazing campus visit, which is partially the reason why I wanted to get involved with the Campus Visit Program. When I visited, everyone was so nice to me, and a sunny day on campus had me sold.
What professor has especially inspired you during your time at Puget Sound?
My advisor, David Lewis, in the Economics department. I took his Introductory Economics class freshman year to simply get a core class out of way, since I did not care much for Economics in high school. However, his teaching style and his enthusiasm for the subject turned me into an Economics major.
What has been your favorite class?
Although I really love Economics, my favorite class was Environmental Science with Kena Fox-Dobbs because I am also passionate about environmental studies, and that class really created that passion. She also brought her dogs to classes and labs, which might have played a role in why I liked the class so much…
What campus activities do you participate in?
I play for the club Ultimate Frisbee team, the Postmen, I am in Greek Life, and I was a Senator in ASUPS, our student government, for my sophomore year.
What is your favorite place on campus?
As many people know, Diversions Café is probably my favorite place for both socializing and study time.
What is your favorite food in the Wheelock Student Center?
I love getting breakfast food from Chef’s Table and making my own breakfast burrito, including a special ingredient!
What advice would you give to a prospective student or first year about the Puget Sound experience?
Get involved! I really found my love of Puget Sound once I started trying new things and getting involve on campus. You find new things to try and you get to meet awesome new people!
What quirky or fun thing do you wish you had known before you came to Puget Sound?
The fact that President Thomas has office hours in Diversions Café! It’s so awesome to see that the President of our university just sits in the café for an hour or two just to talk to students and get to know them.
Who is your favorite character from a movie/book/television series? From my childhood, I would have to say Scooby-Doo.
If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
The day the Berlin Wall fell. After studying abroad in Germany, and hearing about the impact of that day, I think it would have been incredible to experience it first-hand.

If you could have one person with you on a deserted island, who would it be and why?
Kanye West, because he would entertain both himself and me. Just kidding. It would actually probably be my twin brother, Chris, because we would be very resourceful and figure out a way off the island.
