Until further notice, the Pre-Departure Orientation is being held online, via a course in Canvas. Students will be sent course enrollment information via their @pugetsound email address in the term prior to their study abroad.
Each semester the Office of International Programs requires a pre-departure orientation for students who will be studying abroad in the forthcoming semester. The session covers valuable information on various topics, including:
- credit processing
- pre-registration procedures
- health and safety while abroad
- cultural adjustment both while abroad and after returning to the U.S.
