From the Chair

Thank you for your interest in the theatre at Puget Sound.

We engage in a strong liberal arts approach to theatre as an expressive, collaborative art form. Our students experience in the classroom and in production the intellectual demands of theatrical history and dramaturgy, the physical challenges of performance studies, and the ever-changing nature of theatre technologies. Every major participates in acting, directing, analysis, research, writing, and design for theatre. This well-rounded approach culminates with our capstone class, Senior Theatre Festival, which produces four full-length plays each April.
