BLP Student Board

The role of the Business Leadership Program Student Advisory Board is to provide a communication link—the student's voice—between the business leadership program students and the program’s director. The board also leads BLP students’ engagement in community service, peer-mentoring, and social programming.  Please feel free to contact them.

Senior Representatives

Schyler Evans

Schyler Evans '14Schyler is a senior at Puget Sound. In addition to belonging to the Business Leadership Program he is majoring in computer science. Bellingham, WA has been home for most his life, but he spent the last year studying abroad in London. After completing his degrees, he wants to either pursue a career in materials fabrication or video game design. Or maybe just become a bum and travel.


Vishaka Gupta 

Vishaka is a senior at Puget Sound. She is majoring in Psychology along with the Business Leadership Program. 


Junior Representatives

Ryan Del Rosario

Ryan Del Rosario '15My name is Ryan Del Rosario, and I am one of the representatives for the junior class on the Student Advisory Board. I am from Sunnyvale, CA, but now I really do call Tacoma my home. I had the wonderful opportunity to work as the Director of the Sports and Specialty camps at the Palo Alto Family YMCA this past summer! This year however, I am a Resident Programming Advisor (RPA)/Resident Assistant(RA) in Seward Hall. I wholeheartedly enjoy working with Residence Life, and I look forward to working with the Student Advisory Board as well!


Corinne Harlan

Corinne Harlan '15Corinne Harlan is a junior from the Seattle area. She is a BLP major and mathematics minor. Along with her work with the Student Advisory Board, Corinne works in Schneebeck Concert Hall as the Lead Stage Manager and is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She hopes to attend the university's MAT program after graduation.


Sophomore Representatives

Maura Williams

Maura Williams '16My name is Maura Williams, and I'm a sophomore from North Bend, WA. I am double majoring in Business Leadership and Communications. I have a strong interest in marketing, and hope one day to work for a large firm such as Nordstrom or Nike in their event planning or marketing department. When I'm not focusing on my studies, I enjoy crafting, baking, hiking, and riding my horses. I absolutely love the University of Puget Sound, and I feel that the education I'm getting here is of the highest quality.


Cooper Weissman

Cooper Weissman '16I am interested in the areas of finance, accounting, and business management. On campus, I have been involved in multiple singing groups, and I work in the Student Development Office as the Weekend Activities Coordinator. During free time I like to listen to jazz, play soccer, and enjoy the lunch buffet at Gateway to India. I hope to spend the summer in the Seattle/Tacoma area with an internship in finance.


Freshman Representatives

Sophie Grossman

Sophie Grossman '17Hello, my is Sophie Grossman, and I am from Danville, California. I am one of the freshman representatives on the BLP Student Advisory Board. Along with pursuing a business leadership major, I am hoping to pursue a minor in communications. On campus, I am on the lacrosse team, I am on the ASUPS Student Concerns Committee, and I am involved in the Campus Visit Program as an overnight host. In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching Disney movies, and backpacking. I am excited to organize more BLP events this year and try to make more personal connections within the program.


Luke Parkinson

I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. I am a freshman in the program and hope to complete a Business Leadership major and a Chinese studies major or minor. My goal is finish undergraduate studies with a business focus on finance and a fluency in Chinese. I am a member of the Puget Sound Parliamentary debate team and a member of the Investment Club. I enjoy outdoor activities and have spent much of my free time this year outdoors, especially on my bike. I have a passion for travelling and have been to various places around the world, including most of the 50 United States and several foreign countries. I hope I can represent my fellow freshmen to the best of my abilities, and if anyone ever needs to reach me shoot me an email!
