Interested in joining Psychology Club or Psi Chi?
Psychology Club is a faculty sponsored student-run organization open to any Puget Sound students with an interest in psychology. The club's goal is to have fun while learning more about psychology-related topics. Psi Chi is an honor society for psychology majors only and has specific requirements for membership. Visit Psi Chi for more information on membership. Here at Puget Sound, Psi Chi and Psychology Club meet and work together on events.

Psychology Club Events

2013-2014

  • Interested in Grad School? Attend a grad school application workshop by Julie Christoph, October 10, 7:00pm, CWLT.  Julie Christoph will go over how to write an effective graduation school application to help you look the best you can!
  • Field trip to University of Washington Infant Primate Research Lab, Friday, October 11, 3:00pm.  Leaving campus at 2:00 p.m. Contact Vishakha Gupta for more information. The lab houses a large population of infant and adult Macaques, and a variety of medical and psychological research is being conducted using these primates.  This is a valuable experience to learn about the research on human development and disease that is being completed, as well as offering a unique opportunity to open the dialogue among students regarding the ethics of medical and psychological animal testing.

  • Psi Pie and Tie Dye, April 19, 2013, 4:00-6:00 p.m. Fundraiser for Family Law Court Appointed Special Advocates.  Join in the fun by casting your vote ($1=1 vote) for a pie throwing contest in which one of the following faculty will be chosen to receive a pie in the face.  Psi Pie candidates are David Andresen, Matt Locey, David Moore, Jill Nealy-Moore, and Carolyn Weisz.
