Favorite Thing(s) about Puget Sound and the School of Music:
Shani loves the School of Music community and how close-knit it is. She has made her closest friends through Adelphian Concert Choir, which is her favorite music class. She feels that everyone, including the professors, are friendly and supportive. She really enjoyed going on tour with Adelphians and highly respects the conductor, Dr. Steven Zopfi.

Why did you choose Puget Sound?
Her college counselor at her high school recommended it to her. Shani really wanted a liberal arts school instead of a conservatory, and really appreciated that she can double major here. She found the students to be very warm and welcoming when she visited.

Favorite place on campus:
Diversion’s Café
, because it is a great gathering place for all students. Shani recommends you try the Duke of Earl! (A vanilla steamer with Earl Grey tea.)
