What made you choose Puget Sound?
I chose Puget Sound for many reasons: Its proximity to my home (not too far, but far away enough), its size and liberal arts focus, and its superb music school. While I never wanted to be a music major, I loved how I could continue to make music at such a high level.
What has surprised you most about your experience?
The rigor of the music school. Majors and non-majors alike are expected to perform and practice at more or less the same caliber. While this makes some truly beautiful music it also makes for some serious hard work on the side.
What is your favorite musical memory from your time at Puget Sound?
The Adelphian Concert Choir tour through California. Surrounded by stunning scenery, great people, and beautiful music, this was by far my most memorable spring break to date.
What is your favorite non-musical activity on campus?
My favorite activity centers around student government. I appreciate being involved and making a difference on campus.
