University of Puget Sound Northwest Honor Choir Festival 2013

Northwest Honor Choir Festival is an energetic two-day choral experience for advanced high school choral students. Students will spend a memorable two days singing in the Festival Honor Choir, learning new vocal techniques, how to be an effective vocal leader, and lifetime audition tips. Session to be led by Puget Sound faculty members: Steven Zopfi, Anne Lyman, Kathryn Lehmann, and Dawn Padula.

General Information

• Deadline for registration: Friday, Sept. 20
• Enrollment is limited
• Online registration only at: www.pugetsound.edu/nwhonorchoirapp beginning May 24, 2013
• Teachers are asked to nominate advanced singers in balanced quartets only, schools may send up to 5 quartets.
• Information regarding music and preparation CD, final concert tickets, and bus parking is available online.
• Concert attire for final performance will be your school concert attire.

Fee

Cost for two-day festival is $35 nonrefundable per student (substitution is possible). Fee includes lunch on Friday and two tickets per student to the final performance on Sat. Oct. 5. Payment of fees may be made by credit card or check. For credit card payment, call the Office of Public Events (253.879.3555). Checks should be made payable to University of Puget Sound and sent to:

Final Performance CDs

Students may order CDs of the final performance of the Northwest Honor Choir at $15 each. An order form will be included in each student’s music packet.
