Photo Gallery: Oregon Petrology Trip 2008
Here are some pictures from the GEOL 304 (Igneous Petrology and Volcanology) field trip to Central Oregon in October 2008. We saw lots of spectacular geology including the Big Obsidian Flow at Newberry, pumice galore, and a variety of volcanic landforms and deposits. And thanks to Donald Sidman, visiting structural geologist and Coleman stove master chef, we ate really really well. You can click on any picture to see a larger version.
