The Puget Sound approach to occupational therapy education pays off. In the past three years, graduates taking the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy exam for the first time have passed at a rate of 96.7 percent. Graduates quickly find employment in desirable medical and community settings. Fieldwork educators and employers tell us that graduates of the program “hit the ground running, and demonstrate excellent writing skills.” The professional careers of our alumni demonstrate that they embrace lifelong learning, are successful evidence-based practitioners, and become leaders in the field.
