Student Research Involving Human Participants

Students engaging in research that involves the use of human participants are required to provide IRB-related approval as a component of their grant application. Please be aware that this process can take a month or longer, so students should plan accordingly. Students should work with their faculty project advisor to complete the process. Associate Dean Lisa Ferrari can also answer questions related to IRB approval.

For IRB committee information as well as meeting dates, please see the Institutional Review Board web page.
