Student Research Involving Human Participants
Students engaging in research that involves the use of human participants are required to provide IRB-related approval as a component of their grant application. Please be aware that this process can take a month or longer, so students should plan accordingly. Students should work with their faculty project advisor and departmental IRB designate to complete the process. Associate Dean Lisa Ferrari can also answer questions related to IRB approval.
- What type of review do I need?
